      Sound

      The sound component allows you to play sound files and optionally vibrates for the number of milliseconds (thousandths of a second) specified in the Block Editor. The name of the sound file to play can be specified in the Designer or in the Block Editor.

      This component is indicated for short sound files, such as sound effects, while the component player it's more efficient for long files, like songs.

  • Procedures

    • Pause
    • This method suspends the reproduction of the sound if it is reproducing.
    • Play
    • This method reproduces the sound.
    • Resume
    • This method continues playing the sound after a pause.
    • Stop
    • This method stops playback of the sound if it is playing.
    • Vibrate (ms)
    • This method vibrates the device by a specific number of milliseconds
  • Properties

    • Minimum inverval
    • This property allows you to set the minimum interval in milliseconds between sounds. If you play a sound, all additional calls to 'Start' will be ignored until the interval has elapsed.
    • Origin
    • This property refers to the sound path that is the one you will use to play it.
